Message: Al took a strat that I had and turned it into a thing of beauty. When I gave it to him, it looked like Lizzie Borden had gone to town on it. Plus, it had some kind of horrible plastic coating over the wood that Al stripped off (painstakingly to be sure). Now that it had been stripped to the wood and refinished, the sound is so much warmer than it used to be. I'd recommend ARC to anyone wanting their instrument to be so much more that it is.

Message: I brought in an Ovation Ultra that I purchased new in the early 80s. My cat knocked the guitar off its stand in the late 90s and the neck snapped off. I had assumed that the guitar was not worth repairing but Al proved me wrong! He refretted the guitar and reset the neck in a week and it now plays better than ever. Excellent work for a very fair price. I will be back soon with my Martin D18.

Message: An amazing man with amazing talent. Let me tell you, if you have a great guitar, it WILL play better after Al has worked on it - or get the absolute BEST out of your beater or gig guitar. My cheapy Blueridge almost sounds and plays like A High quality Martin or Taylor (well sort of). You gotta let Al work on your guitar.
